    To wife Elizabeth; all houses, lands and tenements in Bedford and Cople for the term of her natural life while she is unmarried On her death or remarriage, to daughter Sarah and son Joseph as tenants in common: (a) dwelling house in Bedford with the passage leading from Mill Lane (b) the little yard adjoining the house on the south and the brewhouse adjoining (c) the little garden adjoining the house on the east (d) the ground adjoining the garden and little yard on the east from the building belonging to the Red Lion Inn on the south to the yew hedge on the north side of the garden and from the yew hedge in a straight line directly across to the fence next to the backyard belonging to the Red Lion (e) the new barn on the said ground (f) the house on Mill Lane in the occupation of Mary West, spinster, with the passage on the west leading to Mill Lane and the little garden on the south (g) the parcel of ground lying between the garden on the south and the ground lying on the east measuring one hundred feet by twenty feet On her death or remarriage to sons Robert and Thomas White as tenants in common: (h) the house in Bedford in the occupation of Samuel Freelove with the stables and passageway to Mill Lane (i) the house on Mill Lane in the occupation of Thomas Pridmore (j) the carpenters shop adjoining (i) (k) the garden adjoining (i) on the south side (l) the ground on the south side of (i) and (j) that extends to (k) (m) the gateway on the east side of (j) (n) all lands and tenements in Cople To daughter Mary Croft; five shillings Witnesses: - John Whitworth - John Cumberland - Griffith Morgan
