    to daughter Mary 3 closes of meadow called Gurney's closes, purchased from Thomas Cheyne, gentleman, in Thorne Beckford, Houghton Regis; the best coverlet, 1 coffer with the linen therein in the hall chamber of the house; a coffer in the same chamber with the woollen clothes therein; the best bed and bedding; the biggest brass kettle, 3 pewter platters, standing on the cupboard's head in the hall and above wherein her linen lieth remainder of real estate to William How of Houghton Regis, yeoman, brother; William Lawrence of Whethampstead, Hertfordshire, yeoman, Richard Purratt of Tilsworth, yeoman, and John Jeffs of Tebworth, blacksmith; the rents are to pay debts, and £10 for the maintenance for son Henry How and 40s for maintenance of daughter Mary; then property to son Henry to daughter Mary 1 gold ring, her mother's wedding ring, and a silver bodkin which was her mother's remainder of personal estate to son Henry, executor William How, William Lawrence, Richard Purratt and John Jeffs appointed guardians of children until they are 18, and "I do earnestly desire them to be careful in the education of my children" Witnesses: Daniel Marsh, Robert Hawkins, William Dine, Abraham Dine
