  • Scope and Content
Susan's Father's Will bequeathed 3% consols to be divided equally, and a further sum of £250 stock to be divided between Susan's two nieces, to whom he also left a share of his personal estate, which was to be purchased in stock, till they came of age, then they were to have their respective share of the £750 stock he left at the time of his death, and likewise their respective shares bought by 'your late Uncle' for them. When Susan's uncle paid William & Mary he transferred to them the exact sum that belonged to them, but he did not transfer any of it out of the stock that was in Susan's Father's name, and William [nephew] ought to have had £150 and Mary £250 from that stock, instead of which it now stands in Susan's Father's name and the whole sum of £750 is therefore only necessary merely for forms sake and nothing more that those tranfers should be amended that the stock may stand in the form specified in Susan's Father's Will, and neither William or Mary can probably have any claim whatever to a single farthing more than they have already had. Lydia's stock is £503 1s 5 3/4d [calculation given]. Also refers to Morgan's share, and an error in the account.
