Scope and Content
Henry Williams Beauford formerly of Biggleswade in the County of Bedford but now of Sudborough House near Thrapston in the county of Northampton and Eliza his wife.
Recites indenture of the 19 September 1838 made betwwen 1) William Hogg, 2) Henry Williams Beauford, 3) Eliza Hogg, 4) Frederick Hogg and Joseph Moor, 5) George Hogg being the settlement made on the marriage of 2) and 3) of £6000 and £2000 but now reduced (by advance of £3000 under trusts to 2)) settled on Eliza Beauford for life and after her decease to 2) for life and then to children.
Henry Williams Beauford and Eliza his wife are desirous to appoint the £5000 amongst the children of their marriage.
£2500 to their daughter Mary Elizabeth Beauford, £950 to their son Henry Walter Beauford, £1500 to their son William Frederick Beauford and £50 to their son John Salmon Beauford, with the right to revoke during their lives or by last will.
