- Scope and ContentPlan of house at Aranjuez sent [present]. Servants lodged in garrets, house more cool than quiet, furniture bad and dirty except their own alcoves. The Court goes to St Ildefonso on the 21st, they will follow soon, weather at Aranjuez described etc. Obliged to Therese for her two letters, hopes she will write often of their nephew. Hopes Mr. Parker is well. Good account of Tom Worsley. Lord Fife's petition will fret Grantham vastly if it succeeds [embankment at Whitehall , see also L30/14/109 & L30/17/50 &55]. Vague reference to a scheme about plans for a Phaeton not taking place, buying mules instead. Tell Lady Robinson that he mentioned Dr. Hurdis’ behaviour to her to the Archbishop of York. English Officers left, Martin goes next week. Often now sit down to dinner at Creighton's [Manufacturer’s name] Table. The Base [playing] will go on very well. "You know I have fitts[?]. I have taken it up again, in the new house Fritz is directly under me".
