… devises to grandson Abraham Carver, all his estate [no details]; charged with payment of 8s weekly to daughter Catherine Patston [recites Will of Elizabeth Williamson of Bedford, widow; dated 15 June 1798; whereby she bequeathed the interest of £500 in Mortgage security to said Abraham Patston and wife Rebecca for life, and then to be divided [as directed] amongst her nieces Elizabeth Carver and Catherine Patston and the said Abraham Carver, Thomas, Elizabeth and Rebecca Carver (children of Thomas and Elizabeth Carver). And also recites that Abraham Patston has applied the £500 in the purchase of the house in which he dwells, which he now charges with the said legacies] (also bequests to said Abraham Carver, all his working tools, and appoints him executor) Witnesses: T Times, Samuel Smith and John Ives [copy]
