    D'Ageste returned from Paris. Brought Nanny's letter to Grantham. Pleased at account of Mr. Parker's recovery. Thanks for satins. Poplin embroidered at Vienna arrived. Green, with silver embroidery in a dropping wreath with a lilac[?] oval in the middle etc. Plans for removal to St. Ildephonso not yet known. Tom Pelham greatly liked at Naples. New French Embassador, very young man, a favourite of the Kings, will take up position formally after instruction from predecessor. D'Ossun a quiet and honest old gentleman, absent from Paris for 27 years. Emporer at Bayonne, went in a private manner to St. Sebastian, didn't come on to Madrid.
