Pleased by account of little boy at Hendon. Harry Pelham probably going to America. Pity for Lady Pelham. Tom assumed to be at Naples thence to Rome. Mr Wall not likely to come this year, due to his great age and change in administration there. French Embassador’s Assembly, rinfresco and supper brilliant. Almost 100 people round plates, ices, orgeat and only five of them ladies. Spanish rinfresco described; liveried servants hand, lemonade, bread, cakes dish of chocolate, dry sweetmeats and paper. Fritz and Grantham’s Assembly on Wednesday sennight. They have the smallest of all the houses. Begins waters soon, prevention of gravel and cholick. Glad Mr Parker pleased with the wine they sent.
