Therese and Nanny probably have less visiting this year as there are fewer races in the West. Not sorry if "Therese had one good reason for not leaving home". Less dependent on company at this Sitio than at others etc.. Fourth Anniversary of their stay in Spain. Mr. Wilbraham may visit from Madrid. Hopes either coach or chariot will be in transit from London soon. Portuguese Embassador's Coach on journey from Lisbon to Madrid. Hope Mr. Wright's packing ability has improved. Lady Barrymore's refusal of Lord Egremont. Impatient to hear of nephew's talking. Would "rather have him be like his elder than his younger uncle". The King has caught trout for them, he and his brother have caught near 700 within three weeks. Not hunting venison yet.
