    New house comfortable and handsome. P. Masseran called yesterday and is satisfied. Thinking of the great dinner, will send plan of house etc.. afterwards when Court gone to the Pardo. Visited Madame Aranda with Madame Fuentes, whom they met at Paris. Not so ugly now. Madame Villa-hermosa is her daughter. Nanny never said whether she met her at Masserans last year. She is great friends with Lady Craven, brought her picture to Madrid, also intimate with Duchess of Bejar. Battue at the Escurial very wet. Grantham with the King. Fritz in coach with Princess Lobkowitz & Madame Viry. Mr. Brymer, young lawyer, very decent. Only 19 but has been to Canada & other foreign parts. Off to Lisbon then Falmouth, will give him a letter for Saltram. Court there Wednesday next. Old Gruegas dead. Madame Sabbatine brought to bed. Tolosa's son married to Perales’ daughter.
