The Master and Usher received their Church Preferment from the Chapter; Mr. Robinson has Skelton, value £25 per annum, Mr. Oates has Winckley?, value £37 [per annum] and Sawley, £30 per annum. Mr. Robinson, son of Alderman Apothecary Robinson, is rumoured to be Town Clerk, if so, Mrs. Allanson has done them no kindness in sending a fresh Attorney, have sufficient already, as well as persons and apothecaries.
