T. Smith at Newby said the wall [which the flood brought down] was not properly secured during building. Further discussion. Waddilove's son better. Lord Suffolk's death, if true, brings Sir G.B. [Bellingham Graham] "something considerable. [Enclosure] Mr. Lawrence's disapprobation of the Proceedings of the County Meeting at York on 19th December last. No negatives to any questions heard at the time, Mr. Lawrence has since declared his dissent etc...
