Last Tuesday's event, the Dean will appeal to the King or the Civil Courts. No support for the Dean, H. Goodricke and the other Prebs. Unanimously supported Waddilove. The Dean now says the House is his as Dean and not the Residentiary House. He dined with the Waddiloves and was given Newby venison. Archbishop's Visitation at Hull and Beverley prevented by gout. Waddilove home on Wednesday. Archbishop at Thirsk on 16th or 17th September. Grantham will probably invite him to Newby on the way. Visits Ripon on 18th. Requests his Spanish books be sent down with F. Robinson's things. Mrs. Waddilove is left at home, well etc....
