    - Messuage or tenement at Up End, Kempston - 3 closes pasture containing 12 acres be estimation - arable land, leys and meadow dispersed in fields of Kempston containing 100 acres by estimation. Recites: Indendure 8 Apr1710, being mortgage for £615 i) James Marriott and wife Lydia ii) Elizabeth Gurney Indenture 25 May 1715, being transfer of mortgage i) Elizabeth Gurney ii) James Marriott and wife Lydia iii) Joseph Wilson NOW: Edward Purton and Lydia his wife have agreed to sell to John Cater for sum of £150 to be paid to Rose Wilson towards discharging principal and interest. John Pearson is Trustee 25 Apr 1728 Endorsement: i) James Malden ii) Woolley Leigh John Spencer, son & heir of Woolley Leigh Spencer, late surviving trustee of indentures of lease & release and settlement of made previous to marriage of Rev. Olpih Leigh Spencer and Frances Cater. iii) Frances Spencer, widow of Rev. Olpih Leigh Spencer iv) Wriothesley Digby, surviving trustee under indentures of lease & release and settlement made previous to marriage of Robert Sherbourne and Sophia his wife v) Robert Sherbourne and Sophia his wife vi) Mary Cater, spinster vii) Thomas Abbott Green viii) William Green ix) John Ward Recites: Will of John Pearson dated 3 Nov 1733, appointing brother Thomas Pearson executor. Death of Thomas Pearson; executors William Willsher and William Malden. William Malden survived William Willsher, and died in May 1792, having appointed his son James Malden executor. Property therefore became vested in James Malden as trustee.
