"I am here with my cousins, getting acquainted with my new car, which is very smart and runs beautifully. A query has arisen re the Insurance. I have to state on the form the name of the Insurance Co. my previous car was insured with and I cannot for the life of me remember. Your father would be sure to know, as I expect he insure all his cars with the same firm. Will you ask him, and let me know by return? I am off to Hawick in Scotland today to spend the weekend with the Staverts: returning here Monday. On Tuesday I drive back to Kingsgate taking Anne and Christine with me for company (all 3 on the front seat: the back one would only hold a dwarf!) Anne is a very good driver. I doubt if it will be possible for us to detour to Ampthill, though I would like the girls to see it. P.S. I am putting this in an envelope in case Vic G. delivers!!!"
