    "first and principally committing my soul unto Almighty God …" to wife Beatrice, executrix, land in the fields of Dean for life, then to son John for life, land in occupation of Beatrice Askew, (charged with 30s per annum to daughter Judith Bell); then to grandson John, son of son Richard to daughter Judith Bell also £20; also all money owed to grandsons Robert White and John Bell (when wife gives over farming), all carts, ploughs, harrows, gears and utensils of husbandry to John Bell and his sister Mary (when wife gives over shopkeeping) utensils for making candles and cutting tobacco; all utensils for keeping a grocer's shop; all boxes, barrels, drawers, counters, mill, mortar, scales, weights and measures; also 2 bedsteads and bedding residue to be divided into 6 parts: to son John, daughters Elizabeth White, Beatrice Askew, Judith Bell; 1/6th part to Richard Wagstaffe's children; 1/6 to Judith Bell's children Overseers: Christopher Fox of Dean; Thomas Dillingham, Shelton; John Simpson of Covington 1 Nov 1729 Witnesses: John Peacock, John Lacey, Mary Smith
