    Recites: - Will of Henrietta Maria Goddard [mother of Henrietta Pole?], by which Henrietta Pole inherits 1/3rd share. - Deed Poll dated 26 Jul 1821 whereby 1/3rd part of Mrs Goddard's property appointed to daughter Henrietta Maria Sarah Stuart in reversion. - Deed Poll dated 26 Jul 1821 whereby 1/3rd of the Pilton estate, Somerset [devised by the Will of the late Henry Hope] appointed to daughter Henrietta Maria Sarah Stuart in reversion. - Death of daughter Charlotte Jemima Pole, unmarried, which occurred after tha marriage of daughter Henrietta Maria Sarah Pole to William Stuart. - Death of husband Admiral Sir Charles Morice Pole. - Desire that after the decease of the testator, her two surviving daughters should have equal shares in property not settled or appointed. - Deed Poll of 26 Jul 1824 where is was devised that the Trustees of Mrs Goddard's Will should assign the 2/3rd parts into the joint names of Sir Charles & Lady Pole. Bequests: -Appointment of 2/3rds of Mrs Goddard's personal estate to Thomas Somers Cocks and William Mackworth Praed upon trust. - so much thereof as will be equal to the monies transferred to the trustees of Mr & Mrs Stuart's settlement to the use of Miss Anna Maria Pole. -Recites a Deed Poll dated 4 Apr 1826 whereby Sir Charles & Lady Pole directed that £9,000 consols should be transferred to Sir Charles Pole for his absolute use and benefit. The consols were sold and the money used to purchase Blackbirds Farm, Hertfordshire; which Sir Charles Pole devised by his will to Henrietta Sarah Maria Stuart and her issue, subject to certain trusts etc. - Testator desirous that like sum of £9,000 consols should be given to daughter Anna Maria Pole. - provisions relating to the remainder of the estate. - Annuity of £250 per year to be paid to the Dowager Anne, Lady Sommers for her lifetime. - To Anna Maria Pole, daughter of Edward Pole £100 per annum for her lifetime. - To Maria Joyce Sherer of Islington £100 per annum for her lifetime. - To Sarah Reed, £70 per annum for her lifetime, providing she be in the testators service at the time of testator's death. - To housemaid Susan Denham £50 per annum for her lifetime, providing she be in the testators service at the time of testator's death. - Residue of estate inherited from Mrs Goddard and Henry Hope upon trust; trustees to pay, assign, transfer or otherwise dispose dispose of same to such persons and in such proportions as appointed by Mrs Henrietta Stuart. -Until such time as the estate is disposed of, dividends etc. to be paid to such persons and in such proportions as appointed by Mrs Henrietta Stuart; failing any appointment to go to Henrietta Stuart; on her death to her husband William Stuart, and on his death to their children in equal shares. -Remaining moiety of estate in trust for daughter Anna Maria Pole on similar terms to above, with provisions for the possible marriage of Anna Maria Pole, and for any children she may have. - Provisions regarding appointment of trustees. Executors: Thomas Somers Cocks and William Machworth Praed; each bequeathed £200. Witnesses: John Edward Butler, Thomas Mason and Richard Dove. First Codicil: Relates to stocks which belonged to the estate of Charles Morice Pole, and now vested in Henrietta Pole, and stocks bequeathed to Henrietta by her mother, all standing in joint names in the books of the Governor and Company of the Bank of England. Second Codicil: Relates to £20,000 3% consols settled on the testator on her marriage. 1/3 was settled on daughter Henrietta Maria Sarah on her marriage. A similar 1/3 sould become the property of daughter Anna Maria on the testator's demise. The remaing 1/3 share to be divided equally between the two daughters. Third Codicil: Schedule of the disposition which Lady Pole wishes to be made of her jewels and trinkets. Fourth Codicil: Schedule of books bequeathed to Anna Maria Pole. Fifth Codicil: Schedule of books bequeathed to Henrietta Maria Sarah Stuart. Sixth Codicil: Schedule of specific bequests.
