Recites (apparently) an assignment of mortgage (see WA55, WA56) 26 June 1754 from George Maggot Nicholas to John Dighton of Staple Inn, gentleman; John Dighton died January 1761; administration granted to widow Elizabeth but not completed by her (died 1778). Robert Holden of Nottinghamshire, esquire, is now the sole person legally entitled to the freehold of said manor, but cannot make a legal title for want of a representative of said deceased John Dighton
