'Just a Card from Silsoe'. Five views of Silsoe, published by Bell's Photo Co. Ltd, Westcliffe-on-Sea. The five views are: 1) The Village, Silsoe, showing the High Street 2) The church and war memorial 3) the High Street from just south of the Star and Garter, looking north towards Park Avenue, 4) 'A Pretty Spot, Silsoe' which shows a stretch of Ampthill Road with a thatched cottage on the right hand side behind a hedge, a car travelling towards the camera, with some more buidings in the distance, 5) 'A Pretty Spot, Shefford Road, Silsoe' which shows a straight road with trees and hedges on both sides.

Postcard sent to A A Shillingford, Dunmurry, Belfast. Message reads "Thank you for your letter. I have written to Margaret & I am seeing a wine firm on Thursday. Great fun here. I sang in the Church Choir for the harvest anthem & met the personalities in the pub afterwards with Mr Baldwin. They are being very kind and I like it very much. They want me to ring bells now!! Hope you are both well. Anthony."
