'Silsoe'. A view taken just north of the High Street junction with Ampthill Road, looking back down (south) of the High Street towards the church. On the far left of the photograph is the signpost indicating Ampthill with what appears to be a lamp hanging underneath it. There is a walled garden area with several ladies with a push cart standing in front of the wall. In the distance the church tower can be seen. On the right hand side of the photograph is the start of Ampthill Road, with a row of terraced cottages. There is a group of people standing outside one of the houses and what could be a man on a motorcycle going down the High Street. Published by Bedwell Series.
