Auctioneer Robinson & Hall under instruction from Francis Cotton Annesley Esq. Comprises 773 acres consisting of Sunderland Hall and West Sunderland Farms and Stratton Farm. Includes Historical note outlining how the estate came to be settled on Sir John Cotton, 4th Baronet in 1707 as equivalent for Cotton House & Gardens in London which housed the Cottonian Library and then how it was passed down through the family until the sale date. Two copies both annotated with prices.
