    Glad he has seen Lady Grantham and the boys all well. Hope Mrs. Robinson's cold is better. Impatient to hear if he has succeeded with Mr. Pitt. Plenty of rain good for Plantation. Will be finished in a fortnight. Great revolution in Pelham family, thought Mr. Cossam was never to leave them. Can't remember Martin but remembers his name. Suppose Jack has sat for his picture. Thinks Sir Robert Palk his best chance of a travelling companion to come down with. Sir Lionel and Captain Pole still there. Play Whist every night. The Edgcumb/e's[sic] and Heywoods g this week. Mr. Anscott has been dangerously ill at Sir William Molesworth's, inflammation of leg. Better now at home. Will answer Mrs. Robinson's letter soon.
