    Heard Grantham safely in Town. Anxious to hear Frederick's gout gone. Enclosure from Mr. Parker [not present]. Frederick to enquire about it [not specified]. No truth in respect about the Duke of Newcastle. Lord Lincoln still there, knows nothing of it. Can't get leave of absence despite writing to General Conway that he wanted to go to Harrowgate[sic] due to bad health. Has taken a lodging for her[?] in Plymouth and lives in Camp himself. The duchess [of Devonshire] has asked her to Plympton although they have no room there. Lord and Lady Duncannon expected Thursday, dined at Saltram yesterday. Elizabeth Foster with them. They were originally going to Torbay to see Lord Hervey but turned back finding he and the sail had gone to Spithead. Finding their servants were not at home had to beg dinner at Saltram. The Boy received Frederick's letter. Frederick welcome to put his Chaise in Mr. Parker's Coach House. The key is in the Sackville Street house, if not Charles Sweet has it and Mrs Robson will get it for him. Mr. Parker obliged to Frederick about the skylight.
