- Scope and ContentTylcocke is seised of a messuage, and ½ yardland and claims common levant and couchant. Sadler claims this was copyhold which was converted to freehold by grant of the fee simple by the manor, thereby extinguishing common rights Tylcocke now pays 55s and agrees to pay a rent of 1d for the following common rights:- 2 bullocks, one horse, gelding or mare and 15 sheep cows,. in the Fen (10 acres) and other commonable places at all times of the year (except in Pigges Park, which was lately enclosed by Sadler by agreement) 2 cows on all commonable places (except in Pigges Park) at all times (except the Fen which is to be used only between 1 August and 25 March) Right to keep hogs and swine on commonable places Right to dig clay, gravel and sand for his own use Right to lay timber where his predecessors were used to do
