Scope and Content
"I have sent every member of the Committee a copy of the enclosed. There are one or two details I should like to discuss with you when you have time.
Mr. Lawson asked me last night if the choirboys were included in the Party on Saturday. He thought they ought to be, as they attend Evensong (sometimes) as well as the Eucharist. But I told him that some of the choirboys did come to Sunday School as well, and it would not be fair on them to let in the others.
Mr. Gower (the film man) wants me to pick him up at All Saints' Church Hall on Saturday at 4. This means I shall not be at the teaparty, so will you see to that?
Two more names for the Bishop's list: Mr. Albert Stevens, of S.George's Hospital: and Mrs. Valder (Mr. Valder is already on the list). they will put their shillings in the one envelope. I also tackled Mrs. Foster, and she said she would come in. So I have added her name. Address 1 1, Woburn Street. We now want 12 more.
I hope you enjoyed your visit to Loughborough.
Yours sincerely,"
