I give my brother Stephen Odell of Goldington, yeoman and my brother-in-law John Smith of Bedford
… messuage or tenement wherein Daniel Fowler lately dwelt and now in the occupation of my mother
…also my butchers shop on Butchers Row in Bedford with appurtenances
…and all my lands and hereditaments in Goldington which were conveyed to me by Richard Watford and John Whitbread
…also all other goods, chattels, cottages etc.
I also make them my executors
…£10 to Francis Brace to pay a debt
…the residue of my estate for the benefit of my daughter Frances for her support; if she die unmarried then the residue to my son William and heirs; if he die without issue the residue to Stephen Odell my brother on condition they pay Hannah wife of John Smith £100 to be disposed of amongst her children as she thinks fit
…to my sister Ruth Read £5
…to my sister Mary Bellamy £5
…to my sister Rebecca Odell £10
…to my late sister Sansom's children £10 to be divided among them by the executors
…the guardianship of my two children to my mother until they reach their ages
