- Scope and ContentMr William Thompson's clerk (Thompson Steward of Acomb Court) said a Jury had overturned a previous decision. The first Court after Lady Robinson's decease found F. Robinson heir to all her copyhold lands within that Manor but upon production of Will on last Court Day they found Mr. T. Thornhill & his sister Margaret heirs to 14 acres on the Moor and F. Robinson heir to remainder except one & half acres bought by Reverend Leonard Thompson which Mrs Peirse is heir to, her surrender accepted as good, F. Robinson set aside as informal. Mr. Thompson advises fresh surrender. Arrangements to make latter.
