Roclife[sic] account & vouchers enclosed [not present]. Has begun new account for F. Robinson containing £210. 8. 0. Hope his recovery continues, wishes he was able to dine with Clifton & Roclife tenants next Wednesday. Hasn't heard from Lady Robinson lately. Cousins well. Prince of Wales and Mauliverer arrived at Allerton last Thursday & intended joining Mr. Thornton & His hare & hounds today at Askham Bogs. Thought they will not visit York whilst Sir William Milner is Lord Mayor because at last General Election he joined Lord Jno. Cavendish against Court's interest. Said that Sir William away. Recorder is abroad & City Clerk in Wales. Citizens don't know how to act.
