Most of the house is in the shot and some of the buildings occupied by the Silsoe Research Institute can be seen on the far right of the photograph.

We're going 'to town' in this village next week in aid of +tain aid [Christain Aid] week, something every day, coffee mornings & evenings, a revue, barbecue, dance & Fete! Much love Sheila."
