Grantham's order. Services, newest design, plainest patterns. Packed in cases for transport on Mule back. Being shipped via Bilboa. Many orders recently for ware with a small purple edging which Grantham may not be displeased with. Ten shillings a dozen plates, other items in proportion. Their Majesty's have recently had a Service painted in purple flowers after Nature. Ornamental Manufactory; update on new productions since Grantham left England. Besides the Pebble, Black Terra Cotta and painted Etruscan Vases there are now Bas reliefs of the principal figures in the first volume of the Antiquities of Herculanium in the Black Composition; and in a composition resembling Ivory relieved with dark enameled Grounds like Cameos, 12-15 inches diameter. Description of possibilities for framing and placing etc. Discovery of a new species of painting, pictures reproduced upon plates of Terra Cotta, detailed description. Smooth but not glassy surface. View pictures in all lights. Essays on technique presented to Royal Patrons. Their Majesty's purchased all items. An art to be improved upon. Marquis de Pombal at Court of Portugal has bought samples of Ornaments. Samples to be sent to other European Courts also. Thanks for Grantham's patronage etc...
