Cherry Burton building hindered by foreman's love of Yorkshire Ale etc... Work of Topcliffe suspended due to uncertainly about Ripon and extra expense at Cherry Burton. Grantham's works to be those of Taste unlike Waddilove's, "I do not believe you will entirely trust even Sir William Chambers". Hendon Fete; Mr. Robinson enjoyed it last year, pleased to have Grantham there this year. Shadwell's letter offering agreeable services on the Banks of Ganges; Persia etc... Ramel never took to Spain and losing Grantham must have disappointed the family. Count Massin's prints, where to send them? Wishes to be remembered to him and Don Rodrigo etc.. Ambassador's death makes payment of coach more secure than before. Hopes a suitable seat will present itself for Mr. Robinson. Dillon's book, hasn't seen it advertised yet. Assumes Grantham has lost Seward's letter, so will not send Captain Duff's. Thanks for paying bill to Mr. A. Delapiere/Delapierre.
