"I do make this my last will and testament…I desire to be buried… in a very private manner and by daylight" To wife Sarah for life Elstow Lodge with gardens and closes; coach, coach-horses and saddle horses; household and farm stores; £100 To executors (William James Cooke, esquire, of the Exchequer Office, and Reverend John Smith, vicar of Elstow) in trust for daughters Harriot, Ann, Sarah, and Elizabeth, books, plate, pictures, china, household linen and furniture, except those in London house which are to be sold To brother William Farrer, sister Ann Farrer, aunt Elizabeth Browne £20 each To executors £30 each. To poor of Elstow £10. To 4 daughters residue, to whom also manors and lands if no son is born Witnesses; William Stevens, Richard P Scudamore, John Harwood
