    Court roll, Manor of Cranfield: - presentment of death of Magdalen Dymoke, widow, seized of messuage in Wharley End and several closes of pasture and sward containing 16 acres and 17½ arable and sward; her heir was her daughter Susannah Gregory; - presenting that there had been a bridleway for over forty years over two closes called Honger Hill out of a lane at the upper end of a field called Portnall to Honger Hill closes in Marston Moretaine, the way being stopped and the gates locked up in 1736; - presenting a lane at the outside of the first named closes next Marston Frith and Bushy Lawn where they cartway was hardly passable by reason of overhanging branches; - presenting that the gate had not been unlocked or the overhanging branches cut so a fine of £5 was issued; - presenting William Paine, Robert Slaughter, Thomas Pulley, Abraham Rush and John Osborne for letting their cows stray onto the highway, not lead or staked – fines: 3/4 for William Paine for two cows; 6/8 each for Robert Slaughter, Thomas Pulley, Abraham Rush and jno Osbourne for two cows three times each; - presenting Henry Arnhold and Thomas Odell, draper ale tasters and bread weighers and to look after weights and measures; - presenting Richard Healy and George Hall constables; - presenting Richard Partridge and John Cripps field reeves and John Brice hayward and field reeve; - presenting death of William Armes seized of cottage in Wharley End for which heriot was due of a kettle and 2/-, his wife ought to be admitted to widow’s estate; - presenting death of Ann Baker, widow and that baker Coleman, her grandson, was her heir; - homage: Richard Partridge; Tawyer Turney; Thomas Partridge; Henry Arnold; John Cripps; Andrew Park; George Wheeler; Thomas Odell; William Paine; Robert Norris; Robert Slater; Thomas Odell, draper
