- Scope and ContentSir Roger Curtis arrived on board the Frigate "Thelis' on 10 March. Details of vessels arriving on 11 March. French convoy remained in bay until 15 March. Part of Toulon Squadron returning from Cadiz also seen. Duke de Crillion and General Elliott met on the Isthmus on 12 March; embraced and conversed. Former invited latter's two Aid de Camps to dine at San Roque. One of whom, Captain Phipps, accepted. Spaniards removing their Ordnance from their advanced works. Deserters from Las Guardias Matonas arrive daily. Peace not yet proclaimed in Garrison. Grantham to be informed of Emporer of Morocco's advances, may be accepted as a necessary evil. Major Horsburgh, Adjutant General, furnished information & will inform Grantham of any further developments.
