Carlisles, Essexs and Marchs also going. Lady Carlisle seems recovered. Current rage for masquerades and other diversions. Selwyn may go to Spa with Carlisles, if not, will meet them on road to Paris afterwards. Madame de Ma mere (translation) Charles has brought Hare[?] into Parliament for Stockbridge it has cost about £2000, £1200 of which paid to General Wearge? who resigned. Learnt this via Lord North "and yet Charles and his Member in Opposition". Charles must explain this all to Grantham as Selwyn doesn’t understand. Repeal of Marriage Act before the House. Lord North solicited no votes against it, so Charles carried it against him yesterday by 30.
