- Scope and ContentTranslation: Excellency, Mons[ieur] Braun has been at my house, the chair will cost a Medaille[?coin] or something a little less, less 30 or 40R: it is for Your Excellency to choose the colour of the skin, whether it be red, blue, yellow or black. The foot of the other old chair, will not serve, a new one must be made. For the Bordeaux wine, which I took at 9R: he has no more. I went to Mr Muller, who has some very good, but at not less than 13R the Bottle: and he said that he charged the same to M Le Comte de Rechtern, and something else, he has 50 or 60 of the bottles, and as nothing else good is to be found, I believe that it would not be bad to take it, to serve it at Your Excellency`s table [In German in the text - ‘tafel’].
