    [recites dispute between Sir Oliver Luke, owner of Hawnes Park (500 acres), and Sir John Osborne, owner and "Proprietarye of the Rectory Churche and Parsonage impropriate of Hawnes", concerning the tithe] (Sir John Osborne, in consideration of the annuity hereafter expressed and 10s, grants to Sir Oliver Luke and Sir Samuel Luke for ever, the tithes of "Corne grainne grasse hey woll lambe" and all other kinds, issuing from Hawnes Park, and all annuities etc. belonging to the Rectory. Sir Oliver Luke and Sir Samuel Luke, in consideration of the said grant, grant to Sir John Osborne, an annuity of £6..13s..4d issuing out of: … The Manor of Francklyns, a capital messuage in Hawnes in occupation of John Godfrey alias Cooper, an orchard on West side of said messuage, a yard and "greate tyled barne" and 2 stables belonging thereto, 2 pightles (3 acres) adjoining the said barn, a messuage near to the said Manor or capital messuage in occupation of Edward Prentice, an orchard adjoining the last messuage, 2 pightles of pasture (3 acres) thereto adjoining, Newe Close (4 acres), Hamer Hill Close (5 acres), a close (formerly 3 closes called Bushie Close, Wheate Close and the Grove), containing 18 acres, Hamer Hill Field (14 acres), Hubberds Field (10 acres), Bournewood Field and Bownewood [sic] Meadow (26 acres), and Harestocking Field (28 acres); all in Hawnes and Cardington (and purchased by said Oliver Luke from Thomas Feild and William Totnam)).
