Went to Minster. Mrs. Hutchinson dined, laments the quitting of Bishopton, hasn't decided where to live. Company of Comedians in town; representation of the Chairing of the Members. Air Balloon sent off from field behind Waddilove's house. Not heard of since. Mrs. Weddell's canvassing in London, hope more successful than his in Yorkshire. Show of hands at nomination in favour of Ministerial candidates. Hopes St. John will not be disturbed. Waddilove thinks Archbishop will give Strensal to Dr. W. Jackson. Waddilove would not dislike the Canonny of Windsor. Cousin Tancred at Fritz's dinner yesterday.
