Has walked a bit further & eaten more. Weddel called & is well. Off to London taking Byram [?] on way. Meeting at York on 10 February not likely to be well attended. Mr. Duncombe & Sir Bellingham to town. Grand Assembly & Ball last night; Mr. & Mrs. Dalton but not Mrs. John & Miss Dalton. Mrs. Allanson suffering badly from headaches, has been electrify'd. Letter from Siere's brother in Nice; Duke & Duchess of Gloucester & Duke of Bedford with hundreds of english are there. Siere told his brother of Richard's being on board Sir J. Lindsay's ship, thinks he will meet with him. Drank tea with Mrs. Waddilove this evening.
