Nanny & Grantham saw Grand Exhibition. Obliged to Batt & Storer for their concern. Thinks Grantham will be "very ill with Mrs. North...you will I fear have no more trifling there". Doesn't see how he & Lord Pane can act more cordially by his having the L.L.[Lord Lieutenancy] of Sussex. Glad of good account of Lady Middleton. Requires Cape he sent to Bath. Received Dr. Moysey's directions. Sets out tomorrow. Pleased this is the at last time of writing from "Mrs. Robert's noisy, cheating, pilfering Hotel..."
