    Feeling better. Slept well. Feeling stronger but knees not straight. Dr. Moysey to give his written directions when Fritz leaves Bath, end of week possibly. No need for Grantham to return. Mr. Ackland visited, sent a shoemaker, lent a cradle for feet. Lord Gower called, invited to play Whist as soon as he is better. Sending message via Mr. Hutchinson to Lady Frankland to request a visit. Mr. Bury around too. Ate broth & chicken, refused hare. Wearing Grey Rateen, left off Royal Astracan.
