Reciting will of John Birdsey, late of Leighton Buzzard, dealer in earthenware, appointed William Brown, Leighton Buzzard, Inspector of Nuisances, and his nephew, i) as executors and trustees. Copyhold property in Leighton Buzzard (subject to an annuity of £28 payable to Josiah Wheeler of Leighton Buzzard) to trustees to pay rents to mother Ann Birdsey for life and after her decease (and the decease of Josiah Wheeler) to be sold.
John Birdsey died on 26 February 1874. Will proved (Northampton) on 11 April 1874
At court for the Manor of Leighton Buzzard otherwise Grovebury held on 20 May 1875, i) and William Brown were admitted tenants
Josiah Wheeler died on 2 May 1882, William Brown on 28 May 1884 and Ann Birdsey on 24 August 1884
i) has agreed to sell to ii) the below mentioned property for £1,250.
Property has since been enfranchised by deed of 20 October 1885 for a consideration of £143..13s..1d paid by ii)
