    Dined at Lady Robinson's with Nanny, Lady Cunloffe, Mr. & Mrs. Harry Pelham & Mrs. Thornhill. Private party in evening, the beaux were the Bishop of Norwich & Dean of Salisbury, latter quite broke. Thence on to Mrs. Legge's. Dined at Sackville St. Again at Mr. Parker's with Mr. & Miss Heywood, Mr. & Mrs. Musters, Sir William & Lady Lemon, Mr. Justice Bulbec & Mr. Hamlyn. Mrs. Musters very handsome, Miss Heywood pretty. Whist in evening, shirked Mrs. Rock's assembly. Painted glass by Jervase, copies from pictures or prints, small pieces have appearance of reflected picture on a Camara Obscura. Two large ones after Sir Joshua's "Hope" & "Charity". Sorry for Grantham's unease about Nanny's arm. Better now. Glad when Munro is paid. Aunt Jemmy returned to Yorkshire without anyone seeing her.
