    Copy will of Sir Humphrey Monoux “at nine of the clock in the night … being sick in body”: - to be buried in the chancel of Wootton church; - devising to his eldest son Humphrey a cottage and pightle, orchard, garden and arable land in Wootton of the annual value of £10; - devising to his second son Lewis the Manor of Cranfield “which I lately purchased in my said son’s name with intention to give him”; - bequeathing his personal estate jointly to his sons Lewis and Philip except his plain cloth and stuff clothes which he gave to his servant Thomas Rickard; - appointing his sons Lewis and Philip as executors; - witnesses William Hastings, Frances Lilley and Rebecka Skelton; - proved in PCC on 14 March 1675
