The reception is to be held at the Alexandra Hotel, and 'the honeymoon is to be spent motoring in Scotland.' Also refers to several wedding gifts; a silver rose bowl from the officers of the 1st Battalion, 5th Fusiliers, a silver salver from the officers of the 2nd Battalion, another silver salver from the officers of the Durham Light Infantry, and a gate legged table from the villagers of Moggerhanger.
