Joan Turney of Leighton Buzzard, widow, by will dated 6 May 1714 bequeathed her arable land in Stanbridge and Eggington and freehold land in Leighton Buzzard to Richard Leach, her kinsman, of Leighton Buzzard, grocer and to Edward Leach, her kinsman, on trust to sell, pay legacies, and divide residue between them. proved 29 Jul 1714
James Leach, father of Joan Turney, by his will dated 14 January 1666/7, gave all his freehold lands in Leighton Buzzard and elsewhere to daughter Joan and heirs for ever. Proved Leighton Buzzard Peculiar 8 Mar 1667
