    i) Charles Rome, Woburn, surgeon ii) Roger Smith, Woburn, draper, lately called Roger Smith junior, who survived Roger Smith senior deceased iii) Benedict Coles, Leighton Buzzard, tallow chandler Reciting that Benedict Coles, late father of iii) late of Leighton Buzzard, tallow chandler deceased, by his will dated 15 January 1709/10 gave to Ann his daughter, now the wife of Charles Rome, £60 to be paid out of personal estate within three months after death of Elizabeth Coles, widow, then testator's wife, and he made Elizabeth and Benedict Coles his executors, and Benedict took on himself payment of the £60. and Reciting indentures Lease and Release 5/6 November 1717 between 1) Benedict Coles the son 2) Roger Smith senior now deceased Roger Smith junior to indemnify estate of Elizabeth Coles of legacy, being conveyance by 1) to 2) of ... messuage with appurtenances where Benedict Coles lives in Leighton Buzzard, the inn of Thomas Ward, West, messuage and ground of heirs of Jonathan Veere deceased, East ... all fronts, freeboards, penthouses, place for sheep pens, mounds, fences, outlets, waters etc. in trust for Charles Rome and Ann his then wife (now deceased) with proviso for making release void on payment of £60 as above, and Reciting death of Ann Rome, that Charles has immediate need of money to put his son, Charles Rome, out into the world, and for his other children, and that iii) has agreed to pay it now, though not yet due, because his mother has advanced him certain money out of affection for her grandchildren Conveyance (Release of Lease and Release) by i) and ii) to iii) in consideration £60 of their estate in the property witnesses: Robert Ashwell, Edward Carvell, Laurence Smith
