    ii) was seised of an estate for life, remainder to her daughters. She agreed to surrender her interest so that a partition could be made as follows:- to Richard How and wife Susannah - 2 messuages at Mile End Green, Stepney, Middlesex to Hannabella Briggins - 3 messuages in Bartholomew Close and a tenement in Half Moon Alley, in parish of Bartholomew the Great to Gulielma Briggins - Messuage and inn in Southwark, Surrey to Mariabella Farmborough Briggins - 4 messuages in Bartholomew Close Since the portion allotted to Richard How and Susannah is of smaller value than the others, the other sisters agreed to pay them £2020 (£415 from Hannabella, £565 from Guilielina, and £40 from Mariabella Farmborough) i) now covenants that he will sell his wife's portion and apply the purchase money and the £2020 in purchasing other land which he would settle on himself and his wife in tail.
