- Scope and ContentReceived his Lordship’s favour of yesterday and will write to Mr Gregory by the first post for Barcelona. Has informed Mr Waddilove that Hughes left for Valencia some days ago. Refers to the French Ambassador who would certainly make the Banks tremble and is of the opinion that he will hold on to his money. Portugal has the same good fortune attending him, but he is sorry for him as he fears it is too late. Very much obliged to his Lordship for remembering him to his friends in the Sitio. Madam Aranda and Dr Martin join him in offering their compliments and best wishes to his Lordship.
