Mr Pelham's account of the price of ornamenting the china ice pails in silver gilt suggests that the expense would be too great, so Grantham will be content with bronze gilt. Repeats his understanding of the prices. Wishes Luigi to set about them and finish as soon as possible. Also wishes a good case to be made for them. The other commission is the Scaiola Desert, which Grantham hopes will be finished upon the directions Mr Pelham left. As these things cannot be completed within 2 months, Grantham wishes that he should be notified when they are ready, so that he may send directions about forwarding them either to Spain or to England. Notification of how much Luigi has received upon account. Grantham has his receipt sent to him by Cardinal Valenti. Asks for acknowledgement.
